unix ware/oracle 7 .3(client) unable to connect to 8i /windows
i am using an IVR running UNIXWARE and ORACLE 7.3(client) . i tried to connect to oracle 8i on windows 2000 but was unbale to connect .

i am using oracle net in 7.3 to connect to the win/8i db.

it raised an error on oracle 7.3 client (distributed database option not installed).

hi,
i think there is some problem while creating TNS names ...Do that once again,,,and make sure u test the connection when u create the service using the Net easy config in the client side.
