dbca creating database error [message #566335]

Hi everyone, I having a problem when I use dbca to create database. This is the error statment that they prompt me.

ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed
ORA-00200: control file could not be created
ORA-00202: control file:'C:\APP\L31003\PRODUCT\11.2.0\DBHOME_3\DATABASE\<OMF_CONTROL_0>'
ORA-27040: file create error, unable to create file

I did make changes in the initialize parameter, could it be that problem, that is why I am having this error now?

Can anyone assist me please.

27040, 00000, "file create error, unable to create file"

// *Action: verify filename, and permissions

file creation failed at OS level

Yes, that is the problem. You have specified a name that uses illegal charactes.
