wrt your question, do you not have a Support Contract? There is no other way to get a patch legally.

Hi John,
I dont want the patch.. I want the details about the patch, any documents which explains its merits and demerits.
Which shows the advantages in the upgraded version (new bugs fixes), etc. Where can I get such details?

Same answer: use your support contract, that is the only way to get such information legally. Some companies such as yours do have a bit of a reputation for not always following the rules, but you must do so. If I were to pass out information, I would be in big trouble. Business ethics are important.
