Hi,
im following the steps given in www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/oracle-db-11gr2-rac-installation-on-oel5-using-virtualbox.php
i installed the grid infrastructure successfully. But when trying to install the database i found that i have only 3.2GB of free space in my filesystem.
Is there a way i can increase this in virtual box settings?
The RAC node 'rac1.vdi' settings in the virtualbox are Virtual size=25GB Actual size=9.9GB
Thanks
Vivek

i have a virtuaBox drive of 25GB on which i have installed OEL-5.
[root@rac1 ~]# df -kh
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00
9.5G 5.9G 3.2G 65% /
/dev/sda1 965M 24M 892M 3% /boot
tmpfs 1.5G 0 1.5G 0% /dev/shm
/dev/hdc 2.3G 2.3G 0 100% /media/20120805_0627
Now im trying to install Oracle software on the mount point'/' which has only 3.2GB free space(required is 4.2GB).So is there a way i can increase the size of this??
