You can get a few good examples by doing some online searches.
I like "Oracle Database 10g: The Complete Reference (Osborne ORACLE Press Series) (Paperback)
by Kevin Loney" It has 3 good chapters on Java and is only $6.65 used on Amazon.com and $3.99 shipping.
This way you will know the basics and will be able to tackle harder books.
