Hi Guys,
Has anyone ecountered the following error.
KCF: Write/Open error block=9854 online = 1
file=3 d:oracleora81dbfbankrbs01.dbf
error=27072 txt: 'OSD-04008: Writefile () failure,
unable to write to file
O/S-Error: (OS 33) The process cannot access the file another process has locked a portion of the file.'
Automatic datafile offline due to write error on file 3: d:oracleora81dbfbankrbs01.dbf.

I get this error everytime i do a warm backup via veritas back up exec. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Jaime,

Seems there is problem in the disk.. why don't check up with your sysadmin.. or why don't u check up your datafile consistency..
