Ora-03113 end-of-file on communication channel [message #51259]

on connecting to oracle using sql plus,svrmgrl I am getting error
Ora-03113 end-of-file on communication channel

On changing SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS) to
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE) I could connect to db through
svrmgrl, but on logging using system/manager i am getting following error
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available.

oradim file of the database contains
ORA-12571: TNS:packet writer failure
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

My platform is win 2000 adv server.
After removing the server from the n/w and starting as a standalone, this error is poping.

Pls Help

sir,

go to the control pannel--services start the oracle services then go to the sbrmgr30 it will work.
