Do not create partitions for datafiles.
You need to decide now many voting files (3, perhaps?) and how many OCRs (2?) you want, and how many raw devices to use for ASM (at least 4 per disc group?) Then create one raw device for each.
It is all in the docs, you must read the RAC Admin and Deployment Guide. All of it.

hi
when you install the oracle 10g cluster software you will automatically get those files ocrfile and votingfile.
ocrfile:
ocrfile contains the information about entaire rac system like instance names, node names, services, tnsfile information etc.
votingfile:
this file contains the voting/poll information of all the nodes those are partcipating in the cluster.each node should be register
their vote with in the specified time period(30sec).if the node is not able to vote, then that node is called as dead node.and its
reboots automatically.
Thanks,
vijender
