I recently found out and verified that the Orcale installer problem is not with XP as much as it is a Pentium 4 bug. To execute the installer, copy the entire CD onto the harddrive, find the symcjit.dll and rename to symcjit.bak, then run installwin32setup.exe, not the autorun. In the case of Oracle 6i Forms and Reports, it loads find, but you cannot run easy Net8 or Net8 Assistant. You must install 6i first, find all instances(2) of symcjit.dll and rename, then run the easy Net8 config.
