The selected candidate will possess strong skills building Web based applications using Oracle Portal's Content Management System with PL/SQL. The candidate must demonstrate their extensive knowledge and on-hands experience with developing applications with Oracle Portal tools, and be ready to hit the ground running and be a productive team member. The environment uses Oracle Portal with the PL/SQL programming language; therefore, the candidate MUST be highly skilled in using these two components together to develop Web based applications. Other skills that are required to successfully complete projects are HTML, CSS and Javascript.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience developing Web based applications using PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with Oracle Portal's Content Management System (version 9i and higher) to develop Web sites and Web-based applications using PL/SQL Programming Language.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in using AJAX and XML to develop web-based applications.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing Web-based applications that meet W3C and Section 508 accessibility/usability standards.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication are required to enable collaboration with project teams, developers, subject matter experts and customers.
