Hi,

I want to take a schema level export .The schema size is 115 GB size .Can somebody tell me do we require
same amount of space to be available in server side (where we are taking a dump) as the schema size
or less or more space is required in server side ?

Thank you

No one can say.
It depends on what you mean by "The schema size is 115 GB size" and how the space is used in the schema (empty blocks and block filling ratio).

But the pre - requisite before taking a export is

1.Verify the space availability in server before taking a export.
2.Verify the user having enough privileges for export.

Based on the above conditions only , i asked these questions.

Thank you

How are you measuring the size of the schema?

But no one can answer.
If you use Data Pump, you can use the ESTIMATE_ONLY option to get the size.
