Hello,

I am having trouble executing a query in toad. I am using 15 tables from multiple locations (DMART tables and another schema). The problem is when i try to use the explain plan, the cost is 778 and 442 Bytes, the actual output is 1 line but it takes 20 minutes to execute. Can you give me some advice on where to start looking for the problem. I know that my sql is correct since the actual output is correct, but it takes so long.

Through away TOAD and start using SQL*Plus.

In addition to that, it reads like a performance issue, rather than a tool issue Smile
