I install Oracle 8.1.7i 32 client on UNIX AIX 4.3.3. After install I unable to run "netasst" manually (Oracle installation unable to run as well).
There are no errors on installation log. The installer just hungs.

I get the following errors when I invoke netasst:

%netasst
Error loading native library:
libnjni8.so java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: jniGetOracleHome at at
oracle.net.common.NetGetEnv.getOracleHome(compiled code)....
any help/advice is much appreciated!

You have to have your terminal set correctly and be using xwindows where DISPLAY can be set. See your installation guide.
