We had an issue in when we triggered the a batch to populate data into a database using db link from source db. The batch process did not get started.
We are getting com.ibm.websphere.ce.cm.StaleConnectionException No more data to read from Socket exception
DBA did not find any issues with the connection being down/closed , they were able to connect it and so we tried the run the batch again. It was able to establish the connection and the batch started.
DBA is suggesting that they can enable the PreTest Connections in the console to avoid this problem again.Will this have a negative impact?
