dear sir,
I found some alert in my alert logfile as following:
Current log# 3 seq# 1377 mem# 0: /oracle/OraHome1/oradb/oradata/oracle8i/redo01.log
Thread 1 advanced to log sequence 1378
Current log# 1 seq# 1378 mem# 0: /oracle/OraHome1/oradb/oradata/oracle8i/redo03.log
Thread 1 advanced to log sequence 1379
Current log# 2 seq# 1379 mem# 0: /oracle/OraHome1/oradb/oradata/oracle8i/redo02.log
Thread 1 cannot allocate new log, sequence 1380
Checkpoint not complete

could you give me some advices?

You need to increase the size of your redo logs. They are switching faster than the database can handle the checkpoints. Is this a DEMO database or a production database? If it is a production, alot of checkpoints degrade performance (if archiving is ON). Thus making your redo logs larger, you have less checkpoints.
