Hi all,

In trying to uninstall my personal ORACLE8i, I have to end the TNSLNSR.exe process in Win2000's task manager. But when I try to end it, it tells me "Access denied unable to end process". Any suggestions?

Thanks.
Mat

Try to stop the TNSlnsr service in the Windows Services. When the service stops, the process stops.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
the best way to de install oracle is to do following:-
-remove all oracle enteries from regedit.exe
-delete oracle folder from hard disk
-remove oracle program from all users in document and settings in explorer.
u might have to restart the PC once after removing the stuff from regedit as the modifications take effect after restart.
take care
