i am trying to use firefox to run 10g forms application. firefox not ditecting the jinitiator. firefox each time says plugin missing and searching for it. giving option to download manually. each time i run the form in firefox same thing. no plugin found and its downloading another copy from d10g folder. please guide me.

Another option, less likely for you though probably, is to switch to using the JRE.
However, we have encountered another problem with Friefox and JRE. You cannot seem to name the version of the JRE in the jpi_mimetype parameter, unless you have that same exact version running. You need to leave of the version and it will work fine.
ie.jpi_mimetype=application/x-java-applet
