Report returns intermittent data [message #512015]

Hi All,

This forum sounds great. I have joined just now in the forum.

I have a RDF report which brings us intermittent data.

Can anything be looked at the report level.

This report is linked to OTM application.

please do the needful.

Intermittent data is data sometimes it appears in the application most of the tiems the data does not come

A few possible causes:

sometimes data is in a table, and sometimes it is not
sometimes you pass parameters that - used in the WHERE clause - return data, sometimes you don't
sometimes you are connected to one database, sometimes to another

I guess that you should provide a lot more information.

Does the report hang or does it come back blank?
In other words is the problem that sometimes it takes too long to get the data?

Hi,
Apologies for the long delay..
The report does not hang,instead it reurns blank.

No data is returned at times.

1) You're passing the wrong parameters.
2) The data you are looking for doesn't exist.
3) The data you are looking for hasan't been committed yet.
4) You've done something else wrong.

Your description is so vague that problem could be almost anything.
