Hello Sir


I am new to Oracle DBA. i upgraded oracle patch set from 10.2.0.1.0 to 10.2.0.4.0 on my Server. We have Data Guard Setup i need to know if i upgraded the patch on Server.whether i also need to upgrade the patch on client machines. currently we have oracle 10.2.0.1.0 client version on user's machines.

whether i need to upgrade the patch on each and every client machines.

please help

It is optional to patch the clients.
