hi all

i want to hide/encrypt and un-hide/decrypt password in to store in database. (do not want to use Oracle's HASHes).

Take a look at the DBMS_OBFUSCATION_TOOLKIT package.

Tom Kyte can provide more in-depth info. Search his site.
