Oralcle 10g forms do not show any thing in explorer [message #493070]

Using Oracle 10g Form Builder, I can connect to the database, compile the form successfully but when I try to run the form by clicking Program/Run form, it opens a webpage(explorer) and displays ?ORACLE FORMS? label, but does not show the form.
After that IE encounters an error and asks me to notify Microsoft Corp.
I have noticed that in Start OC4J Instance window 3 new rows:
09/11/04 16:24:42 FormsServlet init():
configFileName: C:\DevSuiteHome_2/forms/server/formsweb.cfg
testMode: false
Could you please give me some advice!

You cannot run forms by double-clicking a .fmx file. You need to run it through an application server or local OC4J instance.

Actually i have created a form in oracle 10 forms , i have started
local OC4J instance. but when i run it to view results it shows nothing ..... a blank screen appears in browser.

Kindly have a look at snap short attached..

Are pop-ups blocked in your browser? If so, allow them (at least, form this site).

Did you allow active content to run in files on your computer (this setting is to be set in IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab).

What did you set Forms Preferences to? What address did you use? Did you try http://localhost:port (instead of actual computer name)?

I have applied the settings u mentioned above , now Microsoft Internet Explorer opens and disappears after few seconds automaticall.

kindly suggest what to do more...

Does directory name (where the form is stored) contain spaces? Such as

c:\my forms

If so, try to rename it so that it doesn't contain any spaces, such as

c:\my_forms

Also, add that directory into the FORMS_PATH (might be FORMS90_PATH or similar), in Windows registry.
Reboot (just in case).

I solve this problem i used oracle form dev 10g and IE Ver.8 as you know IE ver.8 is not certified by oracle yet so you have to run SUN JPI by modify formsweb.cfg
in this URL C:\DevSuiteHome_1\forms\server\formsweb.cfg
by changing this

baseHTMLjinitiator=basejini.htm

to this

baseHTMLjinitiator=basejpi.htm
