Hi please let me know how to set the value for the password.
for example please consider the below example.

ALTER USER scott IDENTIFIED BY VALUES 'F894844C34402B67'

how to set a password like jan2011 in values.

It would be helpful if you followed Posting Guidelines - http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/88153/0/

using COPY & PASTE create 2 - 4 new users using the same password for every user.

post the results from comparing the hashed password for every USER.

You cannot, just remove "by values" and set it directly.
Why do you want to set it "by values" when you know the actual password?

Hash value depends on the password AND account name.
