DB Release : 11.2.0.1
OS : SunOS 5.10 Generic_141414-02 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-80
Technologies : Oracle Dataguard, physical Standby, Dataguard broker with Fast Start Failover
Hi All,
I need to implement Auto DB start on server restart for the following scenario:-
Case:
Shutdown Server 1 (Primary) and verify that Server 2 take the control(standby to primary with Fast Start failover). Then startup Server 1
Requirement:
Server 1 when started should automatically bring up Database in standby server.
Like above there could be many other cases like both servers coming down together, both servers coming down with some time gap(first stdby then primary or vice versa) etc. The requirement in each case would be that our server when started should bring up database in appropriate mode.
Kindly assist me with the same.
Thanks in advance.
-Prashant
