I got this error
frm-41051: You can not update this record

While i searched about this error on net,

i did everything..my block property is yes for INSERT_ALLOWED and
UPDATE_ALLOWED.
By programatically i didnt set property false for that block.
i check each and every item property for that block...its also
yes for INSERT_ALLOWED and update_allowed..

Experts, help me out how to solve this pblm..

Dear,
If we go on Forms help then we found there.
FRM-41051:  You cannot create records here.
Cause:	You attempted to create records on a block that does not allow inserts. 
Action:	Do not attempt to create and insert new records into this block until you have set the Insert Allowed block property to True. 
Level:	20 
Type:	Error


Maybe you put code anywhere in form to set block properties Insert / Update.

Please check again your form code.

It would help if you were clear as to which error message you got. The error text you gave belongs to FRM-41050. So which error did you really get?
