Set Group 2's "Maximum records per page" property to "1" (one). Also, you might set "Page protect" property to "Yes".

If i set it to ONE, it will ONLY show 1 GRP per page which is NOT what i want. see attachment.

I want to achieve a PAge Break btwn different Groups in GRP2.

I have a report with three-groups query linked to another one-group query.

On Layout, the 1st query three groups are on the top: 3rd group is in repeating frame between many 2nd group fields, and the 2nd query group is also in a repeating frame, as a 2nd layout merged into the 1st one, in the bottom. The link is the 2nd group's Emp_ID.

I set Maximum Record per Page to 1 on 2nd group and Page Break After to one of 4th group fields.

Now every new Emp_ID has a new page, but all the first three group fields are repeating on the new page.

What I want is only 4th group fields continuing to new page, not the first three group fields. How to make changes on it?

Let the first 3 groups print on the "First page" by setting that property in the Property Palette window. Now, it is set to "All pages", I guess.

A new problem is found on the report:

The report title and page number show up on 1st & 2nd page, no matter the two pages are empty or not.

I set 'First Page' on Print Object On, and only need title/page number on the 1st page and no 2nd empty page.

I tried to move title/page number from Paper Layout/Main Section/Margin to Header Section/Margin, and now if the report is empty, I got the 1st page with title/page number(that's OK) and other two empty pages with nothing on them (I don't want the 2 extra empty pages).

Finally I found there is a line set on the bottom on the report with Page Break Before: Yes, and changed to No. No extra empty page come out. The problem is resolved.
