I am setting a String paramter as

<?param@begin:P_ZIP?>

when, I display it as

Zip: <?$P_ZIP?>

It works fine as long as I pass a numeric field. If I pass a string (alphanumeric), the code does not print anything.

I tried various options and it works fine as long as I am passing a numeric. What am I doing wrong here?
