Hi,

I have one question regarding slash ( / ) and semicolon ( ; ) in sql statements.

Can somebody differentiate about it?

Thanks

There is a slight difference (at least in 10.2.0.1.0):
SQL*Plus: Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production on Tue Nov 9 08:06:40 2010

If entered after a statement, a slash and a semicolon act alike. However, when entered after EXECUTING a statement, their behaviour differ.

';' depends on sqlterminator parameter, good reminder, '/' does not.
