Frank N., is there something wrong with members' registration? The last one managed to do that a week ago. That's strange, because - we have had numerous new menbers every day.
[EDIT] Changed topic title; the original was "No new forum members?"

Sort of off-topic here (maybe), but was there a change here at Orafaq, because I noticed that the font looks different along with bolding and "lighter" text in places.
I use firefox and I know in the past I hit some weird key combination that changed my font or some other look and feel settings and thought maybe I did it again, but after seeing Littlefoot's post, maybe Frank Naude made some changes that inadvertently caused some bugs.

My apologies for taking so long with this -
The registration problem is now fixed-up.
The edit button should "disappear" for normal users after someone replied to a message. That's normal behaviour.

Michel Cadot wrote on Wed, 03 November 2010 16:38Does this mean there was no registration between 22 october and today as the "Members" page displays none?
I'm afraid so.

About the edit button - I assumed from Roachcoachs comment in the thread LF linked to that the edit button has just plain disappeared for normal users (I can see it but I'm a mod).
In that case he was the first to reply to his post and complained about the lack of an edit button.
If it behaved as normal he would have been able to edit his post and not have to post a reply with the correction and the complaint.

Littlefoot wrote on Wed, 03 November 2010 20:59Right; that's what I understood as well - "Edit" was gone, even though nobody replied to his message, and I can't remember that "Edit" disappeared after certain time period. So, it was (is?) probably a bug.
In fact, there is a time limit of 24 hours as well. After that, editing is disabled.
