I have defined engineresponsetimeout to 5 mins in the rep_server file.Now the problem is the two reports require almost an hour to generate.So this engineresponsetimeout criteria does not allow those reports to generate and problem is i cannot set the timeout limit to an hour.As certain reports hang and they are highly used so making a user wait for an hour is not a viable option.

So can any one suggest what should i do?
Is there any way i can make these two reports exempt of the current setting?

You cannot bypass this settings but you can
use default report server or can configure one more report server
with required timeout settings and use that report server for long running reports.
