Hi,
I hope this is the right forum to ask the following questions:
I'm preparing for 1z0-051 Oracle Database 11g SQL Fundamentals 1 exam. My main reference is :
OCA Oracle Database 11g SQL Fundamentals I Exam Guide (Exam 1Z0-051) Complete Exam Preparation-John Watson and Roopesh Ramklass , from Oracle Press.
I could find in the book a reference for the objective of the Using DDL Statements to Create and Manage Tables:
Describe how schema objects work.
Any help with that, please???
Also, I'have scheduled to sit for the exam 1z0-144: Oracle Database 11g program with PL/SQL, soon.
Can someone guide me to the best way/test-engine/reference that would help me to study by objectives.
Thank You...

Thank you for your answer.I really appreciate your advise.
I know that I should learn SQL and PL/SQL to sit for the exam. But , I know too that PL/SQL, for example, have an OCA exam and an OCP (advanced programming)exam as well. The reference I'm using to enrich my knowledge in PL/SQL, for example again , contains too many topics and I know they are not part of the exam, as well as I'm not interested to learn at the time being like: Java Libraries and Web Application Development, etc.
On the other hand, there are books from Oracle Press itself that help people like me to prepare for the exams.
So, would you please understand my question?I need to learn and make sure that I went through all the topics that would help me to pass the two exams.
If there are any ethical issues that I'm not aware of, please enlighten and me accept my apologies, in advance.
Thank you

Abeer, you have identified what I believe is a minor mistake in the Oracle course material. The phrase "Describe how schema objects work" is included as a bullet point on the Objectives page for chapter 10 of the official Oracle Uni course manual for this exam, and it is these Objectives pages that are copied to the certification web site and published. However, in the course manual there is no information that can be definitively mapped onto this as an objective. It is such a vague term that it is useless.
So do not worry - as an exam objective, it has no significance.
I won't say "good luck with the exam", because the attention to detail you have shown means that you won't need luck to pass.

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I guess that's all about 1z0-051. wish me good luck for this one.
Now, please allow me to rephrase my inquiry about 1z0-144 exam:
I 'm currently studying from Oracle® Database PL/SQL Language Reference 11g Release 2 (11.2). is it enough? does it cover all the exam topics? I haven't mapped the whole list of exam objectives to the reference topics, yet
I have also bought ucertify test-engine after checking the site on : http://www.certguard.com/search.asp.
But I don't know how much useful or relevant is its study notes and questions to the real exam.
Has anybody used it and passed the exam? if yes, what other references have you used please???
Any advices would be appreciated...
Thank You...
