I am trying to run the the query in SQL Navigator
I am geeting the error Invalid idenfier
If I run the same query at the sql*plus in unix server ,
it's executing succesfully.I have connected to the same database ane same user in both SQL Navigator and Unix server also.
what is the reason please explain me.

Use SQL*Plus and get rid of other tools (but I admit for some people SQL*Plus is far too complex to use as it assumes you know something about SQL and Oracle, for instance, the kind of people that post a stupid "Oracle 9i" title for a question about SQL Navigator).
