I have dsome doubts regarding hot backup
1.Is there any need to backup online redo log files in hot backup?
2.After copying the files I archive the current log manually.
3.Is it must to back up the control file in hot backup?
4.When should we take backup of the control file after copying datafiles,Archive the log and then so that the latest change in log file is reflected in control file...Am I Right?

You are correct - you do not backup the online logfiles, because they are protected by multiplexing. In fact, it is impossible to backup open online redolog files, and you wouldn't want to (note that RMAN doesn't back them up). And yes, you must backup your controlfile with ALTER DATABASE BACKUP CONTROLFILE.
