Hi,
I'd like to know if Oracle 10.1.0.2.0 is compatible with Windows 2008 R2 x64.
Is there any patch to download from the Metalink of Oracle?
Thx for your replies.
Sak.

Actually - I don't believe what is stated above is true. 10.2.0.4 is supposed to be certified and able to run on Windows 2008 R2 in the x86_64 world. There are some things you have to do differently to install 10gr2 on 2008, because the default installer for 10.2.0.1 won't work on 2008. If you have a Metalink account, you might want to look at 783296.1.
Sadly, I am running almost 400 two-node RAC clusters on Windows Itanium, and as such there is no (current) version of 10g that will run on Windows 2008 for Itanium.

Version is 10gR2. Point release would be 10.2.0.4. The OP asked for the possibility of a patch to make it work on Windows 2008. The 'patch' would be the 10.2.0.4 point release. I don't believe anyone would ever want to just run 10.2.0.1 - not in production - too many bugs in 10.2.0.1. To believe the OP was not interested in a version of 10gR2 that WOULD run on Windows 2008 might be true, but I believe it would be unlikely. And while Certify might state that 11gR2 is the only version available to run on Windows 2008, clearly 10.2.0.4 is also certified, supported, and available for Windows 2008.
