hello,

I have a master-detail custom form for Oracle Apps 11i.

Then, when I open a form and create record right now and commit then I have a error APP-FND-01206 and this record isn't exist in the database.

If a query when open a form and add a record in detail block and commit, it's ok.

What is the problem when a commit this form when a create a record right now then I open the forms.

Just in case you didn't notice, attachment is unreadable. Did you bring your monitor to a black/white copy machine and then scanned a printed paper in the lowest resolution?

On the other hand, error you mentioned doesn't look like a Forms message. Would you like us to move this topic to Oracle Apps. forum?

Please post exact reproducible test case. Don't even miss a single click.
Frankly, there is no clarity in your first post.
Which block you are talking about? Master or detail?
If you can't attach a readable document, then type the error here.

Hello,

This problem is on a mater-detail custom forms.

when a query with the parent then add a child record and commit this is OK.

The problem is when I open this form, this form is in INSERT status then add a parent and a child and commit then this a error APP-FND-01206 when I commit. This record isn't exist in table of this database.

The error you might be getting is this.Quote:

APP-FND-01206: This record already exists. You entered a duplicate value or sequence of values that must be unique for every record

Seems your custom code is inserting the same record two times.
As it is erring out, you are unable to see that row in the database.
