Hi,

I am performing the daily monitoring of an oracle database.
for that i am running some queries for Actual Size(GB) of database,Number of Invalid Objects,Lib Cache hit ratio,Buf cache Hit ratio etc.

we have one excel sheet format so every day i am running these queries and copying the results into that excel sheet manually.

So can anybody tell me how to automate this.

You can access Oracle database from Excel using VBA and ODBC.
You can also create a macro that will execute each time you open the excel sheet and update all the fields.

but i am not very much familiar with macro.
can you please give me some good links where i can get how to start or write macros.

I think you will find many examples in Excel or VBA forums, see Microsoft site.
