Uploading parking tickets from a handheld, getting FRM-40735: When-Button-Pressed trigger unhandled except ORA-01400. "Duplicate tickets" found. When I check tables there aren't any duplicate tickets, not sure why this error message is being displayed. We have just upgraded to UTF8 characterset and thought this might be contributing to the problem. Anyone experienced this problem after going to UTF8? Or having a similar problem with duplicate records? Any assistance would be appreciated.

ORA-01400 is cannot insert null.
No idea why you are getting a duplicate tickets message.
Post the code of the button.

I think I found the problem, it was with the sequences. I reset them, and was able to get into the form, and call up an existing ticket immediately. For some reason, perhaps during the characterset conversion, they got corrupted.
