hi all

Im trying to install application server 10.1.2.02 on windows 7 , but it cant start even the first step of the installation
Im new in oracle applicatin server issue so can you please help me and tell me what to do which release to install and from which link

According to My Oracle Support's certification information, Microsoft Windows 7 is certified only with Oracle 11g Database. Therefore, it seems that you'll need to change operating system in order to install Application Server.

yes it certified with oracle 11g but application server 10.1.2 is also certified with oracle 11g , now im trying to install on OS windows server 2008 but without any success .... anybody ...help ????

What does "without any success" mean? Any error? If so, which one?

Did you read (and follow) installation guide?

I did install the Application Server 10.1.2 on Windows Server 2008 yesterday, so untill now I can't tell you that everything works. To make a successfully instalation, you have to go to properties of setup.exe, and in tab Compatibility use, for example, Windows Server 2003 SP1 mode.
Some times ago I did install DeveloperSuit2 (which contains AppServer) on Windows 7 and I've got some problems with running forms (latest version of jinit helped), and with calling reports from forms. So I don't think that successfully instalation means work without any problem on unsuported OS.
