I have an application that fills up my TEMPDB space. I'm upgrading to 10.1.0.5 on Wed night, this will eliminate the bug.
My question is 2 part:
1) When I upgrade to 10.1.0.5, will that truncate the space? If not, how can I do that?
2) Also, i have a very large TEMPDB space from expanding it so many times. What is best way to reduce the size of this tablespace once it is cleared?
Thank you

1. No.It will not truncate the TEMPDB space.
2. Drop that TEMPDB and create another one.
