Hi - it's all on http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=198
You need to sit a SQL exam, choice of three. You'll have no problem with any of them if you have been working in development. I think the easiest is the 11g exam, 1z0-051. Then you need to sit 1z0-052, 11g Admin I. I think the easist way to do that is to read the Oracle Press "OCA Oracle Database 11g Administration 1 Exam Guide", but then I would say that because I wrote it (I'm sure a moderator will remove this, if it is too commercial) or there is a book from Sybex as well. Your test certificates, which you get immediately, should be all your manager will want. To get the official success kit, you need to attend an Oracle Uni course (which doesn't have to be one on which the exams are based, I would advise doing an advanced course later on.)
And don't be worried about it, the exams are no big deal. Many DBAs claim they don't do them because they don't have time. Well, an exam takes 90 minutes. They don't do them because they are lazy. Get the SQL exam booked, and have a go. Do it tomorrow.

Glad you got your answer. If you decide to come back to post other questions, please keep in mind that this forum does not appreciate so-called IM-speak (things like "let c" instead of "let's see", "ofcs" instead of "of course" etc).
