Quote:My Oracle Support contains Certification Matrices.
AAAAHHHHHH!!! 10 Minutes. 10 Goramm Minutes searching for "certification matrix/matrices" in the search before finally one document mentioned to look them up in the "More" tab.
And then, when even when I just select "Oracle Database", and nothing else, all I get is just "0 results found at this product level. Change selection criteria."
Even when I put exactly the OS/DB versions in we run now, and I KNOW they are supported, it still comes up with "0 results found at this product level. Change selection criteria."
Even the help is no help, since the mentioned "Other Certification Information link on the left" (Which was probably a like to the old, WORKING certification matrix) isn't there.
So.
Since Oracle doesn't seem to be able to supply that information anymore, I'm not sure whether the 9.2. client was ever officially supported, I know it isn't now anymore, but still have the 9.2 client running on a couple of AIX machines for applications that still need it, without any problems so far.
Our databases are all 10.2 by now.

I got a confirmation from a senior DBA in my organization that YES oracle 9i client (not server installation) runs on aix 6.1. However, this is not a standard accepted in my organization so I will have to for Oracle 10g client, anyhow.
