Dear All,

i just now installed oracle and import some schema to this new DB. but in OEM showing 40 % full of dump area

how to rediuse the dump area size, please advice me.

And then? You have space it is for using it, isn't it?
If you want lower usage either enlarge the file system or delete files inside the directories.
It's up to you.

Ok...Then what?

We dont know anything about your Database?
We dont know anything about your parameters!
we don`t even know what are the files you have in it?


look at your alert log file and see how large it is.
