Hi,
I am very new to Oracle Forms but had worked on Oracle PL/SQL.
We got a support work from client and the current version with them is in Oracle Forms 4.5
They have sent us the Forms and other files.
I searched on google to Download Forms 4.5 but didn't got any link that could really help me.
The links said that Oracle has stopped the support of version 4.5
What version can I download now so that I can work on the forms sent by them. In case I work on Developer 2000, what if I send them forms from that version...will they be able to import into their environment.
I am very confused... as I have no idea what to do.....
Please help me on this.....

Atleast tell me if I install Developer 2000 will I be able to open the Forms 4.5 in that environment and what challenges I will face....now I atleast want to do some practise on it with the forms sent by them.
Before that I need to download something...will Developer 2000 will help...

Hi David:
Do you know where I can obtain a copy of Oracle Forms 4.5 - I think it was part of Oracle Developer 2000 1.5 or so - anywhere other than from the Oracle Corporation? I work for the state of California, and we apparently threw out our old client software since we're now up to Oracle Forms 10g. What 4.5 had that I vitally need is a utility called f45gen32.exe, which would enable me to convert all the *.inp Forms 3.0 files I maintain to Forms 4.5 (GUI), which I could then convert to as high a version as I needed. It's a perfect solution and far more economical than purchasing costly conversion third-party conversion software, i.e., Kumaran.
David, since we long ago purchased legal copies of Forms 4.5, I don't regard obtaining a freebie as piracy.
Please let me know if you can help me.
