We are currently recruiting for a:
Oracle Forms Programmer
Location: Edmonton, AB, Canada - (Calgary or Edmonton candidates only)
Type:Perm, full time
Level: intermediate
Reports to: Manager Seedpak Development Group
General Accountability:
This position is responsible for the support and continued development of software Information Management System
Specific Responsibilities:
-Development of the system using Oracle Forms & Reports;
-Development of associated stored procedures using Oracle PL/SQL;
-Participate in the design, development, documentation and testing activities within the system development environment;
-Provide internal and client end-user support and troubleshooting for Information Management System and other associated systems;
-Maintain and enhance existing in-house applications;
-Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-Experience programming in an Oracle database environment using Oracle Forms and PL/SQL;
-Superior communication and technical writing skills;
-Experience programming with VB and development of web applications using ASP and.NET considered an asset.
-An ability to work on multiple projects in a multi-tasking, high pressure environment;
-Good interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment;
-Professional experience working with - a Linux environment preferred on management systems
Required Qualifications:
-The successful applicant will have experience with Oracle Forms and Reports environment connected to an SQL (Oracle preferred) database
-Bachelor's Degree or Technical School Diploma and/or 1 - 3 years of directly related professional experience
