Hi, I have installed the OAS 10g on my machine (Windows XP) and I have started OC4J instance and I am still not able to run the forms from web.

If any one could post the steps to run the forms on web, that would be of a great help.
Thanks a ton!

why you are unable to run the form, if you are getting any error then post it, then only we understand your problem.

steps:
1)you have to create the form module first.
2)the complie it. propram -> compile (or) ctl+t.
3)if you complied your module scuccesfully then go to
start->all programs->oracle developer suite devsuitehome1->forms developer->start oc4j instance.
4)then click on run form button (or) ctl+r.
5)now you will see your form on web.

Hi,
I did all those.
I am getting the following error in IE

The URL is http://pc007934.cts.com:8889/forms/frmservlet

I have changed the machine name to machine IP in the URL as well...But no luck....Whats wrong in here?

Explanation: The IP address for the website you requested could not be found.

Try the following:
Refresh page: Search for the page again by clicking the Refresh button. The timeout may have occurred due to Internet congestion.
Check spelling: Check that you typed the Web page address correctly. The address may have been mistyped.
Access from a link: If there is a link to the page you are looking for, try accessing the page from that link.
If you are still not able to view the requested page, try contacting your administrator or Helpdesk.

Technical Information (for support personnel)
Error Code 11001: Host not found
Background: This error indicates that the gateway could not find the IP address of the website you are trying to access. This is usually due to a DNS-related error.
