vista 64bit and 6i forms & forms 6i on vista64 (merged) [message #425214]

iam trying to run forms that made by developer 6i
on a machine that operates on windows vista 64bit
how can id this i get this error dumb

As far as I can tell, Forms 6i is not certified with MS Windows Vista (and will never be). However, you can check that by viewing Oracle's certification matrices.

I don't use Vista, but - is there any kind of "use XP compatibility mode" or something like that? Perhaps it'll help.

As of previously mentioned "compatibility mode": perhaps you could check what Microsoft Virtual PC does. I don't know much about it, but - as far as I have seen - it basically emulates XP machine on your Vista operating system and makes it possible to run software which refuses to run on Vista.

i have the same problem on windows 7 64bit
frm-91113:internal error:cannot get default resource file name
