Hello,

Upgraded all the forms from ORACLE FORMS5.0 to ORACLE FORMS 6i.
There is no change in logic, data, etc. only upgradation was done.

After upgradation,

When the form is run in 6i, then it pops up error message while inserting new record or updating a record.
"Frm-40600: Record has already been inserted".

When the same form is run in 5.0, no error message. Able to save and edit.

How to overcome above issue?

Strange.

Did you try to recompile ALL (<Ctrl + Shift + K>) prior to generating the form?

Yeah, I did.
All forms are working, only few raising this issue.

I think that he created primary key value in form (I don't know how), but when he tried to save changes, the form has said that the record already exists - primary key constraint has been violated. Once he fixed the way of creating a primary key, the error got resolved.
