Hi All,
As I know the configuration process of 10g report server is following,
1. Run -> rwserver server = <new_report_server_name> -install
-- Wait for active Engine 2
2. put the new_report_server_name in cgicmd.dat with report key
-- rpt1: userid=scoot/tiger@orcl server=<new_report_server_name> %*
or put the new_report_server_name in "rwservlet.properties"
-- server=<new_report_server_name>
Then restart the ASControler & OPMN
--------------- -------------------
Can anybody help me about the process? Is it ok?
Recently i faced a problem with report server
I install a new AS 10gR2 and i configure report key properly but when i run report its return a Error like,
REP-51002, Bind to report server <report_server_name> failed.
this report server created automatically.
then i tried with new report server but i failed to run report.
After that i reinstall the windows and configure AS. Now the report is running.
I think there must be another solution to resolve above problem without reinstall windows.
Can anybody help me.
