When i am going to IMPORT the .DMP file its gets terminated in the middle how to do it

I have configured a windows2003 server with oracle9i in that i want to dump the file which i have taken from linux server how to do that. For suppose my dmp file name is dds290609.dmp & dds290609.log how to do this

I am not clear what "this" is.

log files or error messages might contain clues.

IMP-00020: long column too large for column buffer size (15)
IMP-00018: partial import of previous table completed: 4422 rows imported
Import terminated successfully with warnings.

Sounds like you may have transferred your file in ASCII mode, but with the way you give us information little by little, like a treasure hunt, no one can help you.
