hey there..

i need your help to solve one issue which i have been facing so far.

my motive is to display the logged in userName in the welcome page.

i tried using and outPut text in the welcome page and put the value as "#{securityContext.userName}"

but after using this,i try loggin in as Edward, but the welcome page shows "Welcome Anonymous"

i want the welcome page to display "Welcome Edward"

how do i come about doing that?can anyone please help me in this issue??

I've never seen something like the above before (which, of course, doesn't mean that it doesn't exist). Is this Forms-related question? If not, would you like it to be moved somewhere else?

Well is your application written in oracle forms, and if not what is it written in?

yea its done in oracle form..

i'm using oracle jdeveloper 11g..

I've never used JDeveloper but I don't believe it does create oracle forms (.fmb and .fmx files).
Oracle form builder creates oracle forms and this forum exists for that.
Theres a JDeveloper forum that you should probably be using.
