Hi,

We are having 2 database.

one is of 10g and another is of 11g.

I took the backup of one schema in 10g and am trying to import into the 11g schema.
At this time am facing the below error. Please suggest as soon as possible.

. . importing table "ACCOUNTING_AREA_SERVICE_GROUP" 21 rows imported
. . importing table "ACCOUNTING_AREA_TAX" 52 rows imported
.
.
.
IMP-00019: row rejected due to ORACLE error 12899
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 12899 encountered
ORA-12899: value too large for column "C60082"."RATE_CODE"."RAUTH02" (actual: 5, maximum: 3)

Thanxs in advance.
Chandu

I belive your doing export/import from different database & different character set.

If different charactere set; Then before import you may need to run CSSCAN utility.

Thanks
